Yes, we do. I’ve been working on social justice for 50 years and it often feels like nothing’s changed. I hope this is a tipping point.
I am glad to see this comment. Mostly because I admire your commitment to social justice (my wife was a legal services attorney representing poor tenants in disputes with landlords) but also because I had read it earlier and, when responding to your comment about Trevor Noah I was puzzled by remembering reading this and thinking you had said it in response to me and then it disappeared. I am easily confused at times.
I sure do hope so too, Hannah. A lot is happening but of course there will be resistance to change by some who are keeping quiet for the moment. But the moves being made in all strata of our society are encouraging. Even Nascar! 🙂
