Here in the States, October 31 is Halloween. So I’ve decided to add a little spookiness to the challenge.
There are indeed two trunks of the same tree and each trunk has a knothole. But do you see the face in the tree trunk on the right? It looks to me like a howling ghost. Or a wooden rendition of Edvard Munch’s painting of The Scream.
