Sometimes filling the frame is just that – a macro that occupies 90%+ of the available space.

  1. Ah, lovely! On a bit of a chilly morning, thanks for bringing the look of warmth to my morning. It fills the frame beautifully with the feel of summer. ❤️

    1. I’m glad that it warmed your day, Irene. Here in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California, our Julys and Augusts tend to be foggy and chilly. Our summer usually occurs in September and October. The last 2 days have been in the 80s – that’s hot for those of us right on the Bay in San Francisco and Oakland. Glad it brought you some joy! ❤️

      1. I love the San Francisco area. Been there once and it was many years ago. One of the most memorable vacations ever. 😊

      2. Yes! I’m so glad we (my deceased husband and I) were able to move back here in retirement. The jobs had kept us in Southern California for 40+ years. On the other hand, the advantage of being away for a long time makes you really appreciate a place when you return, warts and all. 🙂

    1. Thank you Tina! I don’t live in San Francisco, actually, though I live in the “San Francisco Bay Area.” I’m on the east side of the bay – ” in East Bay” as we locals call it. Specifically the city of Oakland. It isn’t nearly as foggy as the City (SF). Not by a long shot, thank goodness. I couldn’t live in that much constant fog. My husband would have loved it, but not me. We have some foggy days here, and definitely foggy mornings, but it usually burns off. The perfect climate. 🙂
Thanks for the concern about the power outages. Here in Oakland, we weren’t affected, that goodness. But over 800,000 people didn’t have power for several days, which was a real hardship. As of 2 hours ago, almost all power had been restored.

I love getting comments....... so weigh in!
