I was struck not only by the way the shopping carts are lined up, but also by the way they are positioned between the lines of the wall, the railing, the stairs going up to the right and the bottom view of the stairs above. They are tucked quite compactly into their out of the way spot.

A good industrial style photo which in monochrome makes it edgey!!!
Yes! 😀 In color it was nothing special, so I tried monochrome and wow – instant transformation. Well, not instant. I have to work just as hard at editing with monochrome as I do with color. But I am beginning to get an eye for which photos will be far more effective in black and white. I’m really enjoying the process!
It is lots of fun! Monochrome can make models out of ordinary portraits too.
