Pre-Infusion Infusion Day

Today was my ½ day at the hospital getting my MgSO4 (magnesium sulfate) infusion. I get those the day before my IVIG because otherwise the IVIG infusions trigger out of control migraines. I’m super tired. But after 6 ½ years, I am still overwhelmingly grateful for the empathy, care, and affection of the 5 infusion nurses and the wonderful scheduling clerk, J. It was J’s birthday today, so I brought her in a cupcake. A little thing I can do, given how much they care for me. And now, i’m going to rest some before dinner.
