Well, it’s been two years and two months. In that time, I’ve been confined to the house for 7 months due to infections, hospitalizations, and intractable migraines; gotten sick, then better, then sick, then better innumerable times; been unable to sing our spring concert 2 years ago and been too sick to care (almost an impossibility); had to retire from teaching and go on disability 5 years before I was ready to; had my husband get very seriously ill and then much, much better (thank God!); gotten a wonderful dog; and had our intelligent, wide-eyes and beautiful first grand-baby come into our lives. It’s been, shall we say, quite an adventure!
